Who grades the slabs?
TGC, the Trench Grading Company
TGC is RIPPED's in-house grading brand, not a real-world grading company or affiliated with one. Every slab you pull comes graded TGC 1 to 10, sealed in a slab under the TGC seal. The grade sets the slab's rarity and how big a share of the daily payouts it earns.
The TGC scale
Each slab is graded on its own. Every grade is provable: check any pack on the Odds page.

Questions
What is RIPPED?
A trading card game for memecoins on Solana. Each pack holds five slabs: NFTs of real memecoins, each graded 1 to 10 by TGC, the Trench Grading Company. TGC is RIPPED's in-house grading brand, not a real-world grading company or affiliated with one.
What does a pack cost, and where does the money go?
0.1 SOL. 0.05 SOL of it market-buys $RIPPED and burns it; the other 0.05 SOL goes to the slab payout pool. On top of that you pay a small mint fee, shown before you sign, that covers the Solana rent for your five NFTs.
Can I pay with $RIPPED I already hold?
Yes, at 20% off the burn half. On the Rip page, choose to burn $RIPPED: instead of 0.05 SOL buying tokens to burn, you burn tokens from your wallet worth 20% less, priced at the market when you rip. The other 0.05 SOL still goes to the slab payout pool, and the mint fee is still paid in SOL.
What is the Holder Luck Boost?
Hold $RIPPED and your packs roll with better odds for Epic, Legendary and Mythic slabs: 100k+ tokens gives +20% luck, 500k+ gives +35%, and 1M+ gives +50% (the max: Mythic goes from 1% to 1.5%). The extra odds come out of TGC 6. Holders are snapshotted every hour; your boost is your tier at the last snapshot, as long as you still hold that much when you rip. Every boosted pack shows its boost in its roll proof, and the full odds are on the Odds page.
How do payouts work?
Once a day, the payout pool (the pool half of every pack plus $RIPPED's creator fees) buys $RIPPED, which is split across everyone holding slabs by grade: a TGC 10 counts 100 shares, a 9 counts 30, an 8 counts 10, a 7 counts 3, and every other grade 1. Claim yours in your Binder. Amounts depend on packs ripped and trading volume, so they can be small and aren't guaranteed.
Do I get the coin shown on my slab?
No. The coin on a slab is the collectible's art and theme; we never buy or hold those coins. Every payout is in $RIPPED, and only the grade decides your cut: a TGC 10 Cate and a TGC 10 Fartcoin earn exactly the same.
Are the grades fair?
Every grade comes from your pack transaction's signature and the hash of the block that included it, so nobody can pick or predict it. Anyone can re-check a pack on the Odds page.
Can I sell or trade my slabs?
Yes. Slabs are NFTs in your own wallet: list, buy, offer on and swap them on the Market, or move them like any NFT. Payouts follow whoever holds a slab when the daily snapshot is taken.
Which wallets work?
Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, and MetaMask with its Solana account turned on. On a phone, open the site inside your wallet app's browser; the site offers the links when it finds no wallet.
I paid but my pack didn't show up.
Open your Binder: it finds paid packs in your wallet's recent history and delivers them, even if the tab closed mid-rip. Still missing? Message us with your transaction signature.
How does my profile work?
Your wallet is your account. Set a name, bio, picture and up to five showcase slabs in Settings. Saving asks your wallet to sign a message; it's free and moves nothing.
The market
Buy, sell, offer and swap slabs on the Market. 0% market fee; a 5% royalty on every sale goes to the slab payout pool.
How does listing work?
It's non-custodial: your slab never leaves your wallet until it sells. Listing is one transaction you sign that makes the RIPPED market key the slab's transfer delegate, a Metaplex Core permission on that one slab and nothing else. The market only uses it in a sale where the buyer pays your price. The slab keeps earning payouts while it's listed. Listings last 30 days, prices run from 0.01 to 1,000 SOL, and changing the price is a free signed message. Delist any time; one transaction takes the permission back. Moving or selling the slab anywhere else ends the listing.
What does a sale cost, and where does the money go?
The buyer pays exactly the list price, plus Solana's network fee shown in their wallet. 5% of the price is a royalty that goes to the slab payout pool, out of the seller's side: the seller receives 95%. The market fee is 0%. The payment and the slab move in one transaction: both happen or neither does.
How do offers work?
Offer SOL on any slab, listed or not. An offer is a free signed message: nothing is locked and no SOL moves, but your wallet has to hold the amount while it's open, and it lasts 7 days. If the holder accepts (one transaction), the slab is reserved for you at your price for 24 hours, and you complete the purchase through the normal buy flow. If you don't, the reservation ends and the slab stays with its holder.
How do swaps work?
Offer one of your slabs for one of theirs, and ask for SOL on top if you like. Proposing is one transaction that gives the market key permission on your slab; it stays in your wallet. The other holder accepts with one transaction that swaps both slabs, and pays any SOL you asked (5% of it to the payout pool), all together or not at all. A proposal lasts 7 days; cancel it any time.
When does the market open?
After launch, on the live site. Until then the demo's market runs on play money: nothing in it is on Solana.
Stay safe
- We will never DM you first, and never ask for your seed phrase or private key.
- We never ask you to send SOL to “unlock”, “verify” or “claim” anything. Claims happen in your Binder, on this site.
- Profile signatures are free messages. If your wallet asks you to approve a transfer when you save a profile, stop.
- Listing a slab asks your wallet to approve one transaction for that one slab; buying asks you to pay exactly the price shown. If your wallet shows anything else, stop.
